Mavrik Gish, at just nine-years-old, has already received national and international attention. Gish joined the world of competitive dirt-bike racing in 2017, as part of the Oklahoma Cross Country Racing Association. During his first season, Gish captured the overall title in the 51cc category  - an uncommon feat for a rookie. The following season, Gish decided to branch out into the more competitive domain of motocross. Again, Gish proved to be a real talent, quickly finding his way to the front of the pack. 2018 saw Gish earn a State title, the highest score in the Texas Winter Series, and many more top positions in races across the country.

In 2019, Gish was chosen as a  member of Team USA. Gish represented his home country in both the 51cc and 65cc dirt bikes in Verdun, France. Gish earned a silver and bronze medal, helping team USA take home the GOLD medal. Upon the completion of his International debut, Gish traveled to the famed Loretta Lynn Ranch.

Gish earned three tickets to the prestigious national: 51cc 7-8 LTD, 65cc 7-9 LTD (Gish took home the #1 plate in that division), and 65cc 7-9.  It's undeniable that this "maverick" has truly carved out a path for himself and will continue to thrive in the season ahead. Gish spends 4 to 5 days a week training while traveling to races across the country - all while battling the autoimmune disease, type 1 diabetes. Gish hopes to educate and raise awareness about this incurable condition.
